I needed a 4 port KVM (keyboard, video, mouse switch) for a long time, but the prices were to high. Then I found on EBay a KVN for 4.90 Euro (!!) with all cables. A two port KVM was available for 2.90 Euro, but hey who is that stupid.

I didn't had any expectations, but this price didn't give me a choice, so I bought it.

Normaly the KVM will be screwed inside a pci slot. There is no physical connection to the pci slot, but the slot is lost. Only the power supply is used from the computer the KVM is put in and this normaly is a bad thing, as you need to turn on that computer to be able to use any of the others.

Well here it wasn't a big problem, because I don't have any free pci slot to spare. So I used an external power supply. I needed a case for the card and the first item was a bulls eye.

As you can see the good side on smoking is to be provided with nice looking wooden cases. It looks unique, funny and it fits perfect.
