Dots will be replaced by various characters like "_" and "-".
Dots combine words like quotes, but with a much better efficiency as
they will be replaced by alternative characters during the search
operation.
If you get onto an ftp server, use the "parent directory" or
"/.." entry on top of the list. Sometimes there is the real cool
stuff you didn't even search for.
